Why did you join MTC?
I decided that I was going to take 1-2 years off before going to law school. I had applied to Teach For America when one of my friends suggested the Mississippi Teacher Corps. MTC just seemed like a better program. I would get the chance to do something productive and stay in school at the same time…FOR FREE!! Additionally, the people are open and friendly which made for a more conducive environment for me and what I wanted to accomplish in the program.
